Welcome, everyone, to the very first unboxing on A to Geekz! Today, we’re diving into the Infinite Forbidden set, and let me tell you—this one is absolutely insane! If you’ve ever watched case openings before, I promise this will top them all. Buckle up and stay tuned because this is going to be a wild ride.
To keep things interesting, I’m speeding up some parts while slowing down on the key moments, highlighting some must-see pulls. At the end, I’ll showcase the best pulls from each of the last three boxes. Let’s get into it!
Box #1 – Kicking Things Off!
We’re cracking open our first box, and right away, we hit some key pulls:
Sengenjin – A staple in the Millennium archetype, and honestly, just a fantastic card overall.
Millennium Shield – Crucial for searching Ink, the main magic card for this archetype.
Mimighoul Dragon – Love the artwork on this one! A vital component of the Fiendsmith engine and its Necro equip strategies.
Gimmick Puppet CXyz – A card already stirring up controversy in competitive play, now with an expanded, more viable archetype.
Dark Magic Mirror Force – Didn’t even realize this set had Shining Sarcophagus support until pulling this!
Fiendsmith's Sequence & Moon of the Closed Heaven – Essential cards for the Fiendsmith archetype, with some saying Moon of the Closed Heaven should be banned!
Exxod Fires of Rage – Another Millennium piece that has me thinking about building this deck—if I can find the time!
This first box provided me with some solid cards to get things off to a strong start.
Box #2 – Strengthening the Decks
Nothing too crazy at the start, but then we hit some notable cards:
Millennium Shield (again) – Always a welcome addition!
Heretical Phobus Covos – Didn’t know much about this card before, but it looks interesting.
Tract – A Fiendsmith spell card that’s vital but doesn’t require too many copies.
Beware the White Forest & Tales of the White Forest – Supporting the White Forest archetype, these cards allow you to cycle through your deck more effectively.
Wedju Temple & Requiem – More Millennium strategy cards that are making this archetype look even more viable!
Box #3 – Game-Changing Pulls
Now we’re really heating up:
Magician of Black Magic – A powerhouse card for Shining Sarcophagus strategies.
Silhouhatte Rabbit – Seeing a ton of play right now!
Gimmick Puppet Fantasix Machinix – A crucial counterpart to the earlier Gimmick Puppet card.
Diabell, Queen of the White Forest – Strengthening my White Forest engine significantly.
At this point, my Fiendsmith, Millennium, and Mimical engines are looking stacked!
Boxes #4-7 – More Big Hits
While these boxes had a few filler packs, they still delivered some amazing cards:
QCR Fiendsmith Engraver – The most expensive card in the set! Absolute insanity!
Dominus Purge – An extension of Ash, a critical card for certain strategies.
White Forest Secret Rares – Finally completing some much-needed pieces!
Boxes #8-9 – The Grand Finale!
These final boxes did not disappoint!
Last White Forest Card – Completing my set, though not in perfect numbers.
Essential Fiendsmith & Millennium Cards – Nearly everything I needed to round out my decks!
Nine boxes later, I’ve pulled some of the best cards possible for multiple archetypes. Not bad at all!
Final Thoughts – What Do You Think?
That was an insane unboxing! What did you think? Do you like the fast-paced format, or should I slow things down next time? Let me know in the comments how you prefer watching unboxings—do you crank it up to 2x speed, or do you savour every moment?
Thanks for joining me on this unboxing journey, and until next time—keep it geeky!
