Curtis explained, “She has to choose to do the right thing before her time is up, even if it doesn’t align with her convictions.”
The Role of Winston: A Charming Companion
No story in a rich fantasy world would be complete without a quirky sidekick, and Slightly Exaggerated delivers with Winston, a comedic frog companion. While Winston provides much-needed humour to balance the intensity of the narrative, his role also ties back to Curtis’s love for anime and its use of meaningful animal companions. “He’s there for comedic relief in an otherwise deep and intense story,” Curtis shared.
